What do I need to wear for my massage appointments?
For any of our massages, we would recommend wearing comfortable clothing that is easy for you to remove and put back on again. We would also recommend that you do not wear your best clothes, this is because your skin is going to have oil on it after your massage and we would hate for any of your clothing to get damaged by the oil. So to play it safe we would recommend something like dark coloured leggings / gym wear / a lose top etc. Sometimes you can feel a bit cold after having a massage, so bring something snug to put on at the end!
Do I have to remove any clothing for the massage?
Generally, the area that is being massaged will need to have the area exposed. For example if you are having a back, neck and shoulder massage you will remove all upper clothing and lie on your front. (do not worry, the therapist is out of the room whilst you are getting changed). If you are having a full body massage, you will take off all clothing EXCEPT your bottom underwear (this MUST remain on). However, if you are uncomfortable stripping right down to your underwear, just bring some short shorts to keep on during your massage, and if you wear a bra and don't wish to take this fully off when getting on the bed, you can take the straps out, and the therapist can un-do the bra back strap for the massage and close it back up at the end for you. We promise to ensure that dignity is maintained throughout your treatment and you will be covered with a towel and blanket on the areas of the body not being massaged.
What age do you need to be for treatments?
The age for massages and lash treatments is 16 years plus. Any-one under the age of 18 must have an adult attend the appointment with them and they must remain in the room during the treatment. Teenagers aged 13 years plus are able to enjoy facials as long as an adult is in the room with them at the time of treatment.
Why do I need a patch test for LVL, I have had the treatment elsewhere before?
As a business, it is imperative that we conduct the patch test ourselves for your first time attending here. We cannot guarantee that previous therapists have used the same products that we use, or have any documentation to show when this was last carried out. A patch test is done to ensure the risk of an allergic reaction to products is reduced. Whilst it cannot eliminate the possibility of an allergic reaction, it is best practice to complete this and we will not complete any lash treatments without one done first. Once you have had a patch test, as long as your medical history doesn't change and you attend for the treatment within a 6 month time frame, you won't need to be patch tested again.
Do you sell gift vouchers?
Yes! Gift vouchers for any occasion are available to purchase. You can either buy a physical voucher to gift to some one or you can have a voucher emailed to you / directly to the person you are gifting. All vouchers have a unique voucher code and have a 6 month expiry date. Vouchers must be used before the expiry date and they are non-refundable once purchased, they also have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash. You can use all of the voucher value in one treatment or you can use part of the value toward a cheaper treatment should you wish.
Are there any restrictions to treatments?
Yes, there are some medical conditions that are restricted with massage and lash treatments. If you have any medical conditions, allergies or have had surgery in the last 6 months please contact us prior to booking to check whether you are safe to have treatment.
Do you do pregnancy massage?
We do not offer full body pregnancy massage at present. However anyone who is pregnant and are over 12 weeks gestation are safe to have Indian head massage and a facial (unless you are a high risk pregnancy). Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions about this.
Are treatments by appointment only?
Yes, appointments are necessary for your treatment to take place. This is due to therapist needing to prepare the space accordingly for the treatment you choose. Generally walk-ins are not permitted unless there are specific time gaps between treatments on certain days. Usually these are announced on our social media stories.
